01The Service
Early Capital Ventures is an automated analysis tool. You upload a pitch deck and a pipeline of specialist language-model agents produces a written due-diligence dossier — a verdict, a risk assessment, flagged concerns, and questions to put to the founder — typically delivered by email within roughly fifteen minutes.
The Service is decision-support software. It does not make investment decisions for you, and it is not a broker, dealer, syndicate, or introduction service. See section 08 on the nature of the output.
02Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at assistant@earlycapitalgroup.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
You may create an account without payment. Creating an account never, by itself, charges you.
03Plans, pricing, and payment
The Service is offered pay-as-you-go (per dossier) and on subscription plans. Current prices are shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- No silent charges. We charge only when you explicitly start a checkout for a pay-as-you-go dossier or a subscription. Subscriptions then renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- Subscriptions renew at the then-current price for your plan. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Taxes may apply depending on your location and are your responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.
04Credits, quotas, and refunds
A pay-as-you-go purchase grants one dossier credit. Subscription plans grant five credits per paid billing month. One credit is one Full Analysis. Purchased credits do not expire. Monthly credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over. You choose when to start each analysis.
- Confirmed failures return a credit. A confirmed terminal failure restores the reserved credit to its original balance and expiry. This is a credit adjustment, not an automatic card refund. Connection interruptions are reconciled before deciding whether an analysis failed.
- Because each dossier is generated and delivered shortly after you submit, completed analyses are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong with a completed report, contact us and we'll make it right.
05Your content and the rights you grant
You retain all rights to the decks and materials you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and analyse Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
Decks saved to an account, reports and analysis metadata remain available in the workspace. Unclaimed uploads expire after 24 hours. Contact support for account or content deletion. We do not use Your Content to train models, and our model providers process it on an inference-only basis. Full detail is on the security page and in the privacy policy.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload material you are not permitted to share, or that infringes another party's rights or breaches a confidentiality obligation you owe to someone else;
- use the Service in violation of applicable securities, data-protection, or other laws;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or circumvent access controls or usage limits of the Service;
- resell or redistribute the Service or dossiers as your own product without our written permission.
07Confidentiality
We treat the decks and materials you upload as confidential and handle them as described on the security page. We do not introduce founders to investors, syndicate deals, or share Your Content with third parties except the sub-processors needed to run the Service.
08Nature of the output — not investment advice
Dossiers are generated by artificial-intelligence models. AI output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and may contain errors or omissions. A dossier is research and decision-support only.
Nothing produced by the Service is investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and nothing is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or to make any investment. Early Capital Group Limited is not your fiduciary, adviser, or agent.
You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Always conduct your own diligence and consult qualified professionals before acting. You should not rely on a dossier as the sole basis for any decision.
09Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the format and methodology of the dossiers, is owned by Early Capital Group Limited and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service and to use the dossiers you generate for your own investment activities. Your Content remains yours.
10Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Convex (workspace database, uploaded files and account authentication), Resend (account emails), Supabase (legacy site features), and model and pipeline providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and LlamaIndex) used to generate dossiers. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
11Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that dossiers will be accurate or complete.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Early Capital Group Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, investments, opportunities, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any dossier.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
13Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Early Capital Group Limited and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 08, 09, and 11–13) will survive.
15Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and you and Early Capital Group Limited submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
